Angel network Regional Angel Investor Network (RAIN), also known as the Regional Angels, has announced that it is partnering with ACM, a network of 120 leading digital and print news and specialty mastheads, to help regional start-ups get their name out to a potential larger market.
Under the partnership, ACM will provide coverage, as well as events and networking opportunities to early-stage regional businesses, particularly those supported by Regional Angels. ACM’s team of storytellers based in the regions will help these businesses grow by featuring their stories and highlighting their achievements to the wider community.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with ACM, an organisation that shares our mission of supporting regional entrepreneurs and driving economic growth in regional areas,” said Regional Angels Founder Sam Almaliki. “As a start-up founder and angel investor, I understand the importance of providing support to early-stage businesses. This partnership will help us take our mission to unlock the entrepreneurial potential of regional Australia to a national level.”
“At ACM, we are passionate about supporting our regional communities, and we see this partnership with Regional Angels as a natural fit,” said Sharon Fitter, Chief Revenue Officer at ACM. “We are excited to help local startups scale and grow while contributing to the thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in regional Australia.”
This partnership also comes on top of the support Regional Angels is providing to start-ups, offering these businesses access to early-stage funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
“Our mission is to further unlock the entrepreneurial potential of regional Australia to drive innovation, job and wealth creation,” said Almaliki. “We believe in supporting economic growth in our regions by creating opportunities for startups to succeed, disrupt industries, create jobs and drive economic growth in their communities.”
