Renae Kunda

Renae Kunda is the managing Director of Cape York Motorcycle Adventures, a family business operating fully guided off road tours between Cairns and Cape York and across the Top End to Darwin since 1990. Renae came from a background in hairdressing and image consultancy and through hospitality and tourism on cruise ships before meeting her husband Roy who bought her into the off-road motorcycle fraternity. Renae obtained a post graduate certificate in Eco-tourism at JCU that aided the company to become the world’s first motorcycle company to be Eco-Certified. The couple have been leading the way in motorcycle tourism and even COVID could not hold them down - they wrote the book ‘King of the Cape’ during lockdown. It is full of the funny stories that Roy experienced out on the trail and Renae has continued writing ever since.
